TERI SIGNS MoU WITH GLAZING SOCIETY OF INDIA (GSI) |

The MoU envisions promoting applied research around glazing systems and their implementation in building envelopes. The MoU was signed on 23rd February 2021 between Mr. A. R. Unnikrishnan, Chairman, GSI and Mr. Sanjay Seth, Senior Director – Sustainable Habitat Programme, TERI in the presence of Dr. Ajay Mathur, Director General, TERI; Dr. Vibha Dhawan, Designate Interim Director General, TERI; Ms. Shabnam Bassi, Associate Director – Sustainable Buildings Division, TERI; Mr Gopal Ganatra, Treasurer, GSI and Mr G N Gohul Deepak, Executive Director, GSI.

ONLINE TRAINING AND CAPACITY BUILDING (OTCB) CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME: DEVELOPING TREATED WASTEWATER REUSE FACILITIES |

TERI, along with ICAP Trust, iDeCK and International Water Association (IWA)-India with the support of National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India, organized an Online Training and Capacity Building (OTCB) Programme on ‘Developing Treated Wastewater Reuse Facilities’ from 08th to 22nd March.
The 19 session paid programme trained participants on various aspects of setting up wastewater reuse infrastructure facilities such as legal and policy issues, funding options, managing contracts, government approach, marketing strategies, consumer perspectives, and more.
As water has a crucial role in a sustainable future, the certificate programme not only aimed to be beneficial for training participants from a technical/project preparation standpoint, but also intended to sensitise them to the challenges faced by the water sector.
