March was a month of action and engagement at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) with a host of workshops, seminars and launch events being held. The organization's patented Mycorrhizal technology was recognized at a global platform when the World Economic Forum chose it as an innovative technology aiding conservation. TERI spearheaded the move to felicitate stakeholders working to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal on water with the Water Sustainability Awards. |

The World Economic Forum has chosen TERI as one of the thirteen innovative organisations working to conserve and restore India’s forest landscapes. TERI has been recognised for its patented and innovative Mycorrhizal technology that acts as a biofertilizer, as well as aids the restoration of abandoned fly ash ponds, chlor-alkali ash dumps and land loaded with distillery effluents. It has been used to reclaim barren land and improve productivity in Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, UAE, and Qatar.

Written by Urmi A Goswami and supported by GAIL (India) Limited it is dedicated to children and aims to make them realize the need and importance of pollution control for a cleaner and sustainable environment.

The First Inception Meeting of the GEF Seventh Operational Phase of the Small Grants Programme in India (SGP-OP7), being implemented by MoEFCC with the support of UNDP and TERI, was organised on March 29, 2022. It aimed at building awareness of interested NGOs, CSOs in the project landscape regarding the project objectives, thematic areas, selected landscapes, and information on the grant procedure.
