As a part of the Sky Modelling Study at the Mahindra TERI Centre of Excellence, we are capturing illuminance and radiance distribution data using the ML EKO sky scanner installed at the TERI Gram Campus (the first instrument to be installed in India). We are analyzing the measured dataset to categorize the best fit sky conditions in the selected location of the research. In February 2023 for the second phase of the study, an additional sky scanner has been set up at the Saint-Gobain Research India facility in Chennai, India, to capture and analyze data for the southern parts of the country. If given enough time and data points, we can look into various factors like climate change, rising pollution, etc.
