The conversations around climate action intensified ahead of the 28th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP) in Dubai, UAE. As the world converged for crucial talks around the prevailing global climate crisis, TERI renewed its commitments to accelerate green solutions in the month of November.

'Road to Dubai and the Global Goal on Adaptation' and 'Just Energy Transition Partnerships, Climate Action and Minilateralism'


TERI researchers released two policy briefs ‘Road to Dubai and Global Goal on Adaptation’ and ‘Just Energy Transition Partnerships, Climate Action and Minilateralism.’ The policy briefs reviewed the discussions around the GGA framework to provide perspectives on what could be a robust, equitable, and flexible outcome of the GGA process at COP28. The outcome on GGA will be a key determinant of the success of COP28.

Discussion paper on Operationalization of the Loss and Damage Fund: Challenges and Opportunities
At the 27th Conference of the Parties (COP27) of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), the participating states agreed on the broad modalities for the establishment of a historic Loss and Damage Fund. Furthermore, COP27 set up a transnational committee to “make recommendations for consideration and adoption by COP28” for the loss and damage fund, making the particulars and modalities of the fund a key topic for COP28.

TERI Hosts Pre-COP28 Dialogue, Launches Road to Dubai and the Global Goal on Adaptation


In the wake of the G20 New Delhi Leaders' Declaration's recent ratification during the G20 Leaders' Summit and the eagerly anticipated COP28 in Dubai, TERI organized a Dialogue at the India Habitat Centre.
The event titled ‘Act4Earth National Dialogue: Road to Dubai, from G20 to COP28’ brought together stakeholders to dissect the critical relationship between Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the pressing need for climate action.

TERI organizes Dialogue on SDG Blueprint for Sustainable Agriculture


TERI organised a dialogue on ‘SDG Blueprint for Sustainable Agriculture’ with support of Norwegian Embassy to provide an opportunity for cross-sectoral discussions among the key stakeholders to inform integrated strategies at the national level through identifying interlinkages and policy interfaces between SDGs and sustainable and climate-sensitive agriculture.

TERI is delighted to share that its Advanced Mycorrhizal Biofertilizer, "Uttam Superrhiza," marketed by Chambal Fertilizers, has been named the winner of the Applied Microbiology International Product of the Year 2023.

Deadline Extended


The 23rd edition of the annual flagship event of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI)—the World Sustainable Development Summit (WSDS)—will be held from February 7-9, 2024 in New Delhi.

The deadline for applications has been extended to December 31, 2023.
