Unlocking the Next Decade of Ship Recycling : Scale, Sustainability, and Green Value Chains Round Table Discussion

On April 30, TERI’s NCoEGPS hosted a high-level roundtable focused on the next decade of ship recycling where leadership discussed how sixteen thousand upcoming vessels represent a massive circular economy opportunity for green steel if the industry can successfully bridge regulatory gaps between conventions while prioritizing digital transparency and labor safety to ensure that available capital meets the policy clarity required for sustainable global competitiveness and long-term value chain growth.

Responsible RE Summit 2026

The Responsible Renewable Energy Summit 2026 served as a cross-sector forum bridging the gap between ambition and execution in India’s energy transition. Under the theme ‘Shaping the Future of Energy: From Principles to Practice,’ stakeholders explored implementing responsible solutions across supply chains. The day-long event featured leadership dialogues and practical labs, continuing the mission REI began in 2020 to promote people-centric and environmentally sustainable energy.

Valuation of Ecosystem Services (Wealth Accounting) and Assessment of Payment for Ecosystem Services

TERI, in partnership with Ernst & Young LLP, conducted a comprehensive study for the Bangladesh Forest Department as part of the Sustainable Forest and Livelihoods (SUFAL) Project. This study developed a robust framework for valuing ecosystem services and natural wealth accounting in three critical forest sites: Teknaf Wildlife Sanctuary, Modhupur National Park, and Ramgarh-Sitakunda Reserved Forests.

ECSBC Master Trainer Programme

MoU Goa

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), in association with TERI, invites applications for the ECSBC Master Trainer Programme. This 5-day residential programme is designed to build national capacity for the implementation and dissemination of the Energy Conservation and Sustainable Building Code (ECSBC) 2024 and Eco Niwas Samhita (ENS) 2024. The initiative aims to develop a pool of certified experts capable of driving compliance and awareness for energy-efficient architecture across India.
