August was the month to celebrate the Twenty-Second Darbari Seth Memorial Lecture which holds special significance as we celebrate our 50th anniversary. The Darbari Seth Memorial Lecture featured esteemed speakers, including Shri RK Singh, the Hon'ble Minister of Power, New & Renewable Energy, and Mr Siddharth Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, Tata Trusts. During the event, colleagues paid tribute to the revered founder of the organization.

Twenty-Second Darbari Seth Memorial Lecture


Commemorating its visionary founder Mr Darbari Seth and remembering his unique acumen, pathbreaking insights and a steadfast focus on energy security and sustainable development, TERI hosted the 22nd edition of the annual Darbari Seth Memorial Lecture.

Shri RK Singh, Union Minister of Power, and New & Renewable Energy, Government of India delivered the Presidential Lecture and Mr Siddharth Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, Tata Trusts delivered the 22nd Darbari Seth Memorial Lecture at the event.

TERI-Shell Report: India transforming to a net-zero emissions energy system: A Call to Action to 2030


TERI along with the Shell Group of Companies (India) launched the ‘India transforming to a net-zero emissions energy system: A Call to Action to 2030’ report at the T20 Summit in Mysuru. Examining a set of decarbonisation pathways, the report identifies a series of requisite actions to decarbonize the Indian economy. It also outlines key policies and investment actions required to enable India’s energy transition whilst simultaneously balancing the imperative of just transition and securing the country’s energy needs.

DMRC to make passengers aware about CO2 emissions reduction due to Metro travel


TERI is proud to share that its comprehensive research has aided Delhi Metro Rail Corporation in its initiative ‘CarbonLite Metro Travel’ aimed at informing passengers about the carbon emissions they have saved while using the metro instead of petrol-fueled cars.
