Boosting consumer confidence in solar lighting with a million+ solar LEDs
 
TERI has been an early proponent of clean energy access for all and through its Lighting a Billion Lives (LaBL) campaign has been meeting the challenges of clean lighting and economic opportunities for the energy poor. Initiatives such as LaBL share the credit of boosting the confidence of the rural consumer in LED-based solar lighting products much before they caught urban India’s attention.

TERI-NCSTC Eco Eureka Training - Register now
Registrations are now open for the TERI-NCSTC Eco Eureka Training. It is a five-day workshop in December for students in the age group of 18 to 25 who will be encouraged to explore nature-based solutions to environmental issues by various experts. Registration closes on 15 November 2018.

 
 
 
Management Development Programme on Electric Vehicles
 
The objective of the training programme is to provide subject specific knowledge on electric vehicles to researchers, developers, utility officials and charging infrastructure companies officials. This will help them acquire a comprehensive overview of electric mobility and charging industry, demand based incentives & strategies, evaluate costs and benefits, grid integration aspects of EVs, energy markets and tariffs, and electricity grid infrastructure, overview of the development of smart charging (demand response).

This programme will also enable participants to understand the financial benefits of commercial and private electric vehicles.
