Types of fenestration shading
A. Horizontal shading device
This shading device is a long horizontal projection from the wall. It is measured on a vertical plane
normal to the elevation, as shown in the figure below. One large or several small elements of shading
device can result in the same performance. There are various types of shading devices. For example,
projecting eaves, horizontal canopy, awnings, horizontal louvers, and so on.
