Compliance 29.2.1 requires a report on measured average ambient noise levels on site. An
example of the same has been provided above (Figure 12).
Compliance 29.2.2 requires that the building site plan showing measures to control outdoor
noise (Figure 13) is submitted.
Compliance 29.2.3 requires drawings and narrative showing measures as described in NBC 2005
to control indoor noise, as shown in figure 15.
Compliance 29.2.4 requires cut sheets, specification sheets, and commercial brochures of sound
absorbent materials and bill of quantity demonstrating the use of sound absorbent materials in the
building design.
