Various measures have to be taken in order to comply with this mandatory criterion of GRIHA. Figure
1 demonstrates the use of sturdy and safe platforms with appropriate safety measure like hard hats.
Figure 2 demonstrates various features complying with the safety and health requirements of
this criterion. The construction workers are wearing hard hats and high visibility jackets for their
safety. Safety nets are provided in order to ensure safety of workers working at a higher level. Clean
drinking water has been provided in separate tanks in order to avoid contamination.
