Possible errors
1. the test might not be conducted by an independent laboratory.
2. the necessary signatures might be missing from the documents.
3. the item number of the paint used in test certificate might be different from the paint used
in the building as specified in the boq.
Point allocation
one point to be awarded to the project if all 100% of the adhesives and sealants used in building
interiors comply with the voC limits mentioned in griha.
Appraisal 26.3.3
100% of the composite wood products with no urea-formaldehyde resins (1 point), as per clauses
26.2.1, 26.2.2, and 26.2.3.
Required documentation
1. Specification sheets, cut sheets/brochures of the resins used in the composite wood
products and other agri-fibre products.
2. a test certificate clearly demonstrating that the selected wood and other agri-fibre-based
products do not use urea formaldehyde as a resin.
3. a copy of the bill of quantities showing the purchase of composite wood products and agri-
fibre-based products, which do not have urea formaldehyde resin.

Check that the various wood and other agri-fibre based products do not use urea formaldehyde
resin.
