Required documentation
1) Submit drawings and documents showing locations of energy and water meters.
Review checklist
1) review the drawings to check whether all the required meters have been installed at the
correct locations.
2) review the documents submitted to check whether appropriate meters have been installed.
Possible errors
1) meters may not be installed at the correct locations.
2) meters may not be of appropriate type.
Point allocation
mandatory 1 point can be awarded if appropriate meters have been installed at all the required
locations.
Appraisal 33.3.2
Provision for a core facility/service group responsible for the o&m of the building’s systems after
installation as per clause 33.2.2. inclusion of a specific clause in the contract document of the systems
supplier for commissioning (installation and test run) of all electrical and mechanical systems as
per clause 33.2.3. inclusion of a specific clause in the contract document of the systems supplier
for providing training to the core facility/service group responsible for the o&m of the building
systems after installation, on the operating instructions/dos and don’ts/maintenance requirements
for the specific system, as per clause 33.2.4. development of a fully documented o&m manual/Cd/
multimedia/information brochure enlisting the best practices for o&m of the building’s systems, as
per clause 33.2.5 (mandatory 1 point).

systems after installation, supported with the contract (mutually signed between the
respective parties) document or supportive documents, verified and signed by the
responsible parties.
2) Proof of inclusion of a specific clause in the contract document of the systems supplier for
commissioning (installation and test run) of all electrical and mechanical systems.
3) Proof of inclusion of a specific clause in the contract document of the systems supplier for
providing training to the core facility/service group responsible for the o&m of the building
systems after installation, on the operating instructions/dos and don’ts/ maintenance
requirements for the specific system.
4) Copy of the fully documented o&m manual/Cd/multimedia/information brochure
enlisting the best practices for o&m of the building’s systems. the name and address of
the manufacturer/supplier of the respective system, owner/builder to be given to the
occupants or to the service/facility management group at the time of occupation.
