Evaluation procedure


Appraisal 7.3.1

demonstrated use of minimization and consolidation of transportation/service corridors and
shading of pedestrian roads, as per clause 7.2.1. (1 point)

Required documentation
1) a narrative should be provided to elaborate on reduced road lengths on site.
2) a site drawing should be provided highlighting the various road lengths on the site.
3) the drawing should also highlight consolidation of various transportation/service corridors.
Review checklist

1) Check that road lengths are minimized for optimized circulation on site.
2) review the road length to ensure that excess road lengths are not provided and circulation
is simple.
3) Check that the road widths are not over designed.
4) Check that the pedestrian walkways are provided along the roads on site.
Possible errors

1) extra road lengths, which may be non-essential, might be provided on site.
2) the width of the roads and pedestrian walkways might be more than required widths.
Point allocation

one point should be awarded if the road lengths are minimized and transport/service corridors
consolidated.
Appraisal 7.3.2

use of aggregate utility corridors, as per clause 7.2.2. (1 point)
Required documentation

1) drawings showing various sections of the utility corridors demonstrating consolidation of
various utilities.
Review checklist

1) Check that the various utilities are consolidated. there are various utilities that exist on site,
for example,
a. Power/ht cables;
b. Communication cables like telephone, internet, and so on ;
c. Storm water drainage;
d. water supply pipelines ;
e. rainwater harvesting drains;
f. fire hydrant pipelines;
g. waste water discharge drainage.
2) Consolidated utility corridors should be well-spaced on site according to necessary design
requirements. there are certain utilities like security camera lines, outdoor power cables etc.
which can be easily clubbed together into single channels while being cased in separate
