• If adequate provisions have been made to ensure that the infrastructure provided for
the persons with disabilities, are usable by them also. for example,
(a) whether the staff has been given training on disability awareness,
(b) whether the staff themselves are aware of all the infrastructure provided for people
with disability so that they can be of immediate assistance when required,
(c) is there a provision for regular maintenance of all the facilities provided for persons
with disabilities,
(d) is there a provision for periodic review of the quality of accessibility by conducting
user feedback surveys and access audits.
Possible errors

1) Site photographs may not demonstrate all major design features required for showing
compliance with the nbC 2005 annex d (Clause 12.21) (biS 2005f).
Point allocation

if the site photographs and narrative demonstrate satisfactorily that minimum level of accessibility
has been provided in the facility for persons with disabilities, then one point can be awarded.
