• Areas reserved for storage of construction material
• Areas reserved for the RMC plant, bar-bending yard, cement store, equipment store, and
so on.
• Areas reserved for storage of construction waste
• Areas reserved for labour camps/sanitation facilities for the labour
• Others if any
Review checklist
1. Check whether the drawings submitted for this criterion match with those submitted for
the previous criterion. if required, compare the same with a satellite image of the site to
ensure that all the mentioned features are exactly as per the site and are accurate.
2. detailed outlay should be included in the drawing, including (but not restricted to) the
following aspects.
• Cement storage area
• Bar bending yard
• Paints storage area
• Bricks storage area
• Aggregate storage area
• RMC area (if present)
• Other materials area
• Equipment storage area
• Site oice
• Labour camp and facilities for labour, such as sanitation and drinking water amenities
Possible errors
1. Submitted drawings do not show site features as per the actual site conditions (i.e. as per
survey drawings).
2. inadequate detailing of construction activities
3. Construction activities do not anticipate all possible aspects of the process likely to disrupt
the site. the plan must include the following.
• Areas of the core construction activities
• Areas of access on the site
• Areas of internal circulation around the site (within the site boundaries) and around
individual buildings
• Areas of machinery and construction equipment (RMC, Barbending)
• Areas of storage of new materials as well as waste materials
• Areas of facilities for the labourers, site engineers, and so on
Point allocation
one point should be awarded if the requirements of appraisal 2.3.1 and 2.3.2 are adequately
addressed.
